LSU had what, 14 points off turnovers?

So the same amount A&M had till we switched our defense to the 3-2-6?

LSU wins in Baton Rouge. A&M wins in College Station.

How can this even be supported other than some strange desire to appear unbiased?

And only 7 more than A&M's inexplicably shitty kicker left on the field, too!

This is fun.

And check that, the TAMU offense hasn't turned it over at all since LSU.

I'm happy the majority of LSU fans don't blame every loss on the kicker.

Not at all.

Hell I don't know who'd win. That's the point.

But nothing about TAMU since the LSU game suggests a rematch "wouldn't be close."

Why is it so hard for LSU fans to give props to what's a pretty damn good TAMU squad? shite's weird.

I'm perfectly fine giving you props. I have no problems at all with that. But there is really nothing to support the conclusion that aTm is better than LSU at this point.

Yeah your kicker is dog shite. But that is like saying we would have had a TD if the receiver had caught the ball. It is ridiculous to live in the world of hypothetical. He didn't make it, so it don't count. IF IF IF IF IF doesn't mean shite.

We're on the same page.

Like I said, no clue who's better now. There are perfectly reasonable arguments for both sides.

The thread's topic asks IF a rematch happened...with IF being the operative word.

That requires analysis of the prior games which obviously calls for IF hypotheticals.

Not really. LSU has improved far greater and won the first game. Regardless, we won the first game and won't play again so it doesn't matter. We're better.

So where does that put us 3 weeks ago? A couple points worse than Bama?

But we're better than Bama now though, right? I mean, no question, huh? If so, and applying your approach, Bama must necessarily be better than LSU.

And round and round we go...

I don't know. I think your offense has been impressive most of the year absent LSU and second half of UF.

I think you are. I realize how you will turn this but I'll play.

transitive logic? come on. You may not be better than this but I wish you were.

We were better on Saturday, just as LSU was better than us October 13th, just as Bama was better than LSU two weeks ago.

We know that.

Come on. Obviously that post was draped in sarcasm--but also the end result of your logic.

According to you, LSU beat TAMU last month, therefore LSU is better today--no question.

But if beating a team in the past is the sole consideration when discussing who's better today, that has to mean Bama is better than LSU.

Of course this approach is ridiculous. The answer to the thread's question--the very stupid question--is that no one knows.

I think we'd win by a lot more than we did a few weeks ago. We were still crappy on offense. I expect Manziel would struggle just as much.
