TAMU's Kingsbury offered a HC job

Is this headline a reality with TAMU's new success in the SEC? I would be worried about this if I were an Aggie fan. KK is young, but has NFL experience that some may see as an invaluable tool for a NCAAF HC. Honest thought...

Kentucky would be a great fit IMHO

Didn't hear this last week... or the week before.
For the record dont think he gets hired, just has not proven himself enough. Also why would he leave, wouldn't he at least stay as long as JFF does? Would most likely be offered a better job then.

If Dykes leaves LaTech then I would most definitely see them going after him.

Of course he will get offers. I imagine he will do his thing at A&M for at least a few seasons until they get really really good though.

Nobody has the balls to offer a head coaching job to a 33 year old OC with two years experience.
Maybe in a few years, but no program worthy of leaving A&M for can defend that to their fanbase.

Isn't he barely 30?

I, along with most of the Ags with whom I've discussed this topic, fully expect KK to be gone next year or the following one. Worrying about it doesn't change that fact.

Who was the last coach hired at a BCS school under 35? I can't fathom a noteworthy program offering him a job at his age and experience. He was a "quality control" guy less than 24 months ago.

That would be really impulsive of a team to hire away a 33 year old OC with no HC experience who is having one hell of a year....
I see people waiting to see if there is any fizzle in his schemes....

Dude will have his choice of schools in 2-3 years. But if he goes now, I'm not worried. Sumlin is the mastermind, it's his O. We need to lock up Sumlin for 100 fukin years

This oh fricking this

I don't think anyone assumes a BCS school will offer him. He will most like get overtures from non-AQ schools looking however.

He'll get offered someday, but he's still awfully young. This is actually his first year as OC, it was shared before. At some point, he'll go elsewhere and Sumlin will train someone else. That's the way it goes.

Even if someone did hire him away, Sumlin could cherry pick from a dozen mid-major coordinators who run his scheme.
Sumlin is the reason anybody knows the name "Holgerson" or "Kingsbury". He'll make someone else a hot commodity, too.

Not so clearly defined in Baton Rouge with many Tiger fans in agreement.

he has been linked to the Kentucky job. I saw a few credible people report that
