a bad defense

I don't know man. 57 to LaTech is a lot but if you look at all there games here, their D is pretty fair.

Agree LSU had everything they needed to pull an upset and couldn't get it done. AJ played a terrible second hf missing open receivers with ZERO pressure and we still won. Bam was the better team and if the game and most of tr LSU fans irl had not thought Bama was going to blow them out this game would have been no surprise. I said earlier this game would be decided by three Pts. either way. LSU is a very good football team but Bama is better. Even the local sports radio today was commenting on this loss and talking about they hate to sound like they are taking moral victories that LsU is too proud for that they don't play for those any more. This is a championship caliber program and should act like it. Even former player Randal blue Gay said yesterday that you had to give credit to AJ he made the plays when he had to. He said they were in man with the safeties back which is exactly how you play it. AN finally made the throws he shod have all game with no pressure.

I just think on the road against Bama's O line they will struggle. Bama will win the TOP battle keeping JFF on the sideline.

Oh I think so too. Their best chance is if JFF can throw long. His arm strength is questionable but if he can do this, allowing him more room to scramble, it should be a good one.

Dude. I don't consider last week a moral victory. And I knew we wouldn't get blown out. I picked LSU to win 20-17. Both teams are full of nfl talent and is why the games are close no matter where the games are played. We act like champions already. But part of being a champion is moving on after a loss.

our defense is not bad at all. its not great but we have arguably the best defensive player in the conference in demontre moore. we may have a shaky secondary but we have a good front 7

If Bama starts winning the TOP, your D is done.

If we win the TOP they're just as screwed if not more so with our fast paced offense. Bama looked gassed against LSU.

We lack depth at D, so TOP will be huge. It is a given that it will be one of Saban's top priorities.

a) We are a quick strike offense. Good or bad, Bama will own TOP, so that argument is stupid.

b) LSU showed the blueprint to stopping JFF? Okay, then they also exposed the Bama defense. 10 other high caliber players on that Aggie offense.

c) our defense actually does better against run oriented teams. Pretty sure Bama doesn't run same offense that Ole Miss and La Tech do!

You should just hope your guys don't turn the ball over five times. This is your third shot at the elite of this conference.

It can happen in the SEC anytime you take the field there are so many quality teams in this league. Odds are we're gonna lose 1 somewhere along the way this year and the further you go into the season, the more it hurts. Just ask LSU about there 1 loss last year.

We're coming off a awfully physical win on the road at LSU that had to leave us pretty banged up physically and drained emotionally.

If its going to happen I'd rather it come today than against the barn or in the SEC title game.
