Cool article & map from the WSJ....

quote:

To find out where the public stands on important issues such as whether Florida is more popular with Floridians than Florida State, The Wall Street Journal compiled data from Public Policy Polling. The surveys ask's respondents in 15 football "swing states" which school is their favorite

The map is broken down by overall, democrat, republican & a wildcard question. They polled 6 SEC states, the overall results were....

Texas... Texas-23%...aTm-14%...Baylor-10%...

Miss.... Miss. St-36%... OMiss-21%... S. Miss-27%...

Bama... Bama58%...Aub28%...

GA... UGA45%... GT 14%...

Fla... UF26%...FSU21%...UM11%...

S.Car.. USCjr 52%... Clem 25%...

No states add up to 100%, obviously there are lots of out of state school & smaller school fans in each state, but Ga. has the most.

Here's the map...click to enlarge.

I think the SC numbers might be a little skewed by the fact that Clemson fans don't understand the voting process...
