Alabama, Oregon, Notre Dame, Kansas State, and Georgia.

I could very well see Oregon falling in the PAC-12 Title Game and Notre Dame losing to USC.

Georgia: The Bulldogs need to win out, including a SEC title game matchup with Alabama, plus have two of the other three unbeatens (Oregon, K-State and Notre Dame) lose. The odds of all of that happening aren't great, but if they can run the table, the Bulldogs have a chance.

Or we could handle our business in Columbia, SC and be ranked #2 right now.

Yup. Same as the loss to UT in 2007. Embarrassing and costly.

This. There is no excuse for how bad we played.

While the comments are true. Bama did not take care of LSU the first time last year and LSU has had one or 2 losses when they got to go. They had luck to help them. Didn't LSU lose to KY and have 2 losses that one year? They really took care of business...

It would be a diservice to college football to not put the SEC champ, 1 loss or not, into the BCS game. Stupid BCS crap

While I agree with you, there are plenty of people who resent the SEC. I personally wouldn't rank Oregon in the top 10, much less top 5, as I think they are a gimmick team in a joke conference. But, there are a ton of pissed off Big 10, ACC, PAC 10, etc. fans who think they play the same quality ball as the SEC. It is sort of like Bama right now. The disneys are crowing about how we are going to whip them in Atlanta. I hope we get there, and I hope we beat Bama, but I will be surprised if we do.

If Oregon did not lose last year, does Bama get a "rematch"?

K State could lose to Texas or chamionship game

K State doesn't have a Championship game. Big 12 doesn't have enough teams to play one.

Not in Autzen. I think the Civil War is the only game Oregon has a chance to lose.

Notre Dame losing to USC.
If USC offense that blistered Oregon shows up they will dismantle ND.
The most realistic scenario to set up UGA is USC beating ND and then if Collin Klein is out this week, TCU could take down K-State.

Chuck Oliver was just saying that he thinks if we win out that our wins against undefeated #2 UF and #1 Alabama would vault is ahead of notre Dame and ksu should they both win out.

I would bet that the powers that be would love to see a non-SEC championship this year. For the Dawgs to make it these other guys are going to have to lose. Two undefeated teams and we'd have trouble getting in even if we beat Bama by 30.
Just sayin..
