You got to beat the ever loving shite out of Bama on national tv for most of the game. You were better in almost every facet of the game.

You also got outscored, which means you can keep your Miles-hate and general self-loathing intact.

Win-win, no?

The only team LSU fans hate more than Bama is LSU.

THey know us so well. Honestly I put the blame on Copeland's PF more so than the trick play by Miles.

In all the "world is ending" drama going on over on the scoreboard, this made me laugh out loud.

In what area was Bama better?

LSU dominated and Les Miles pissed it away. We just need to stay in our base defense even if we're up by 20 from here out..

LSU dominated, wouldn't it be nice if they were to play ND in the Sugar Bowl or something? (Assuming that Bama wins out.) I'd love to see ND take a beating like that in such a hostile environment.

Man of man, I would be irate if I were an LSU fan.

Onside kick? Fail. Fake field goal? Fail. Sticking Spencer Ware up under center on a 4th down to do a quarterback sneak? Fail. Kicking a 54 yard field goal? Fail. Then the missed field goal at the end, but that isn't on Les Miles.

Still, the fact remains, he robbed LSU last night. He went full retard.

as do i. it looked like we were bullying them down there and were going to walk in for a td. loss a great deal of momentum there and probably cost us the game

One of the more staggering stats to me: LSU had the ball nearly 40 minutes. Almost two to one.

They played our game. Or the game we used to play.

penalties that's a given.. since 2007, in the LSU vs Bama match up Alabama has been penalized 177 yds on ~2.5 penalties called per match. LSU has been penalized for 392 yards on ~7.5 penalties per game.

but yeah, where it counts.. the scoreboard..

I'd give him a break on the onside kick. And if Ware hadn't bobbled the snap, who knows how that might have gone.

The fake fg and long fg though...yikes.

I don't mind the onside kick call. The rest.. pretty much agree with. Alabama tried to bail LSU out on the fake FG with a facemask but it went uncalled unfortunately ( ). That last fg Alleman attempted would have been his career long. The correct call is to try and win the game on 4th down.. and he played not to lose, and as usual, that loses the game for you.

Especially with how well Mett was playing.

Fwiw, I'm not sure why Fluker wasn't flagged on his shove. Mingo acted a bit, but if a flag had been thrown, I wouldn't have complained just been pissed at Fluker.

That was 3 ways to describe how Alabama outgained LSU 166-139.

Granted.

FG kicking

Did Alabama even attempt one?
