Gary Andersen would be an incredible hire for Tennessee. Preaches fundamental football like none other. His teams always play well over their head.

Only L's to Wisconsin by 2 pts and BYU by 3.

The 3/4 was a bad choice though.

This. After recruiting 4-3 players 09-11, I can't see how people thought this was going to work.

Sal's absolutely retarded in playcalling too. Lack of personnel plus bad playcalling. The guy absolutely has no feel for the game.

I would go with a defensive minded coach. What about Mike Stoops? I know he sucked at AZ, but strong defense is the way of the SEC.

Mike Stoops is a joke. Rides his brother's dick.Look at AZ under Rich Rod.

Please explain why it won't work. Are you at practice? Describe specific reasons why defensive scheme is failing.

Watch them play the game, you dumbass McNeese State cock sucker. It's pretty evident. If you need further explanation, DIAF.

Isn't that what everyone on a message board is? Are you Sal's mom following in Dooley's mom's footsteps?

You still can't tell me! McNeese would beat Tennessee 3 touchdown if Vols were only allowed to use players from Tennessee.

Just like Boise State wouldn't have gained the national attention they did if they only used players from Idaho. Just like Oregon wouldn't be where they were if they were limited to Oregon players.

I forgot you were "that" fricking clueless idiot. You're not worth my time anymore.

I respect criticism from guys who know football. Does degrading coaches and players make up for shortcomings in your life?Be specifics with your criticism.
Speaking of moms, bet yours did not let you play football.

Oh well the fact of the matter is that he is not going to make it through this season and thats that. I would prefer to get Gruden, Peterson (long shot), Strong, but hell no to Petrino. I don't think Tennessee needs that surrounding the program.

Well, for one......and the ESPN crew called him out on it too:

Situation: 3rd adn 23 at the 26 yard line.

Playcall: 1 safety deep, corners in shallow zone.

Result: TD pass to TE.

1 deep safety in that situation? Are you fricking kidding me. He totally expected Spurrier to tuck his dick between his legs and run the ball and accept the field goal, when anybody who has watched Spurrier since 1990 knows that isn't his style.

That's not even taking into account how retarded it is to leave 1 man deep in a 3rd and VERY VERY long situation against anybody.

Then on the goal line, he chooses to crash down with a DE without a LB or DB traliing him, which leaves the whole fricking side of the field wide open for USCe to waltz in for the 2 yard TD run.

Just thought of another reason he is unqualified:

He last called plays over a fricking decade ago. And even then, his experience is limited to Alabama A&M and illinois bumfrick state.

A DECADE!!??!! Offenses in CFB are incredibly different from just 4 years ago, let alone fricking 13 YEARS.

The guy may coach linebackers and DL just fine, but having a feel for when to blitz, when to have 2 men deep, when to play man, when to zone....etc. ....that only comes from experience and practice, in which he has none of as a DC at a high level conference.

You completely flip flopped on your Dooley stance. I really like the guy as a person, but he hasn't come close to proving that he deserves another year. And frankly it isn't even close, especially for someone who didn't even deserve a job like Tennessee in the first place. We can will do a lot better.

No, I think that UT should keep him that doesn't mean I believe they are going too. I think that he will get fired just depends if it is sooner or later.
