Should have invited me. I'd have provided transportation.

Some things are funny, this isn't to me..
What a joke, 7 grand?
It has more to do with how much I hate how people take advantage of company money (things that can be written off as an expense) and how those same people bitch about welfare. Essentially they're doing the same thing, but through a different door.
The guy paid it back, but you can be sure he wasn't expecting to have to pay that back when he was throwing bills around.

I just wish he would have brought a few prospective recruits with him.

man, didn't expect so many get a kick out of this.
i'm 27 and feel like a old old man with different standards.
i hate vegas, strip clubs, and ppl wasting huge amounts of money.. therefore don't find this funny.

[quote]“He was attending a national conference with people who do his job in athletics,” Moller said of Schumacher. “He was the only representative there for Missouri, and when Mike got back from his trip, he paid everything back.” Moller said disciplinary action was taken against Schumacher, who is still employed by the university, but did not divulge what that was. “He showed very poor judgment and is very remorseful,” Moller said. “He immediately made amends. I know he’s grateful to have a chance to make up for it.” Read more here: LINK
The story makes it sound like he came back from trip and offered up the money. But why not use a personal card in the first place? I suspect he is very grateful to still have his job!
I had to laugh at the OP's title for the thread, (truly witty).....but I'm sure we all recognize the gravity of the situation. I also think the AD is taking the appropriate steps to monitor future use/abuse of university credit cards.
