ASU > Kentuck. Berk has got this. And the high for the day is like 49 degrees. Kentucky is going to be cold.

ASU > Vanderbilt also though. And Corbin was spotted 6 points thanks to Franklin. I think we would be fine if we were to repeatedly hand the ball off to Kendial, but I am not going to trick myself into thinking that we will actually run the ball. I think we win close but UK hung around with UGA last week...

I feel like this will be a loss now. Not that CB can't get it done, just that he will be hampered by the play calling of Yost.

I dont care if he seems like a douche. Bring back DC. I like to win, and its not like Pinkel will let outbursts like that happen on his staff.

We're pretty much are the same as Kentucky when it comes to weather..

Maybe you were jokin' and I took you too serous, I have a tendency to do that.

Is anyone really surprised JF isn't starting?

I still think we win the game.

Berk was obviously unprepared for Vandy and even admitted he was nervous. That wasn't the case for ASU. Berk has a high ceiling.

Having said that, I don't know if Berk would give us a better chance than Franklin because Franklin doesn't seem like himself this year.

I think we might be better off just naming Berk the starter for the rest of the year and focus on an offensive scheme catered to his skills. It is too hard as it is w/out having to figure out who the QB is week to week.

No, they'll run the wildcat 14 times Saturday in place of the designed Franklin runs.. it's literally insane.

I'm to the point where I would rather not watch Mizzou football anymore because I get sooooooo MAD with the play calling.

The coaches have been outted as one trick ponies, and since their star pony is hurt, they can't compete anymore.

It hurts my eyes, heart, and soul to watch them play this awful. I feel sorry for the seniors they know that Pinkel and company have written off this season as a failure.

Why play hard anymore if the coaches aren't going to put out 110 percent themselves?

The kids aren't giving it their all because the coaches have given up. They've accepted how shitty they are in comparison to the rest of the SEC and they just want this season to end.

Pathetic. And frick ANY OF Y'ALL IF YOU DISAGREE WITH THIS. I'M RIGHT...YOU'RE frickING WRONG. KEEP DRINKING THE KOOLAID.

Kills... the coaches haven't given up.

They are retarded, yes. Given up, no.

The coaches have most definitely given up. When you don't adjust, you might as well say, "I give up. We'll regroup in the offseason."

I'm not so sure they really haven't given up at this point. It just seems after this season the company line will continue to be "We do what we do..." and we were killed by injuries last season.

There just has to be changes. Either those changes come from the coaching staff or they become the coaching staff. I don't doubt that the players think the season has been a disappointment but I also don't doubt that each game they go out there and give every effort they have to win. The coaching staff? I don't doubt they want to win. They have to hear the grumblings. I suppose the question is are they willing to make the changes that give the team the best opportunity to win. And running the wildcat a dozen times isn't the answer.

Even though Berk is struggling... we should still win this game. UK is starting 3 true freshman in their secondary.

They may be more decimated by injuries than us.

They have made adjustments. If you can't see those adjustments then you're not paying attention.

Eta: FightTigers, I replied to your post but wasn't necessarily meant for you.

UK has played strong teams closer than we have. I think we stand a good chance to lose this.

That's why I really need the Cardinals to win tonight. Or, I may just drink myself into oblivion.

Thats the problem. I dont think that they do. Criticisms, yes. But anything more? No. Here is the thing. We have plenty of people that are more than satisfied with mediocrity. I mean people seriously argued that Pinkel should have a statue put up inside of Faurot just a couple months ago. A statue. While us "message board crazies" might try to point out things, I legitimately think that most of the fanbase would let the staff have 2+ more years of this before they would start to complain. I think our problem is we have people that settle because its "better than before".

And for clarification, no I am not on the Pinkel needs to be fired next month bandwagon either.

Would be a good game for Berk to break out. He needs the confidence boost. He needs help though. The recievers need to catch the balls that are catchable and run crisp routes. Yost needs to give Berk some help by playing to his strengths. Designed QB draws and the like.

Maybe the O-line starts playing together. They have to at some point start becomming familiar with each other. This would also be a good game to try to get DGB some touches and maybe try a two back set with Lawrence and Murphy. ??????

I feel good about this game. It's one more week for Franklin to get healthy and thats a big plus. Maybe they have finaly figured out that players need recoup time. There is no point to rushing them back. No point. A 100% healthy Franklin I still say is dangerous. We will need him for Florida.

Not great news, wish he was ready to go. I still think we can squeak out a win with Berk, though.

To the sky is falling posters: We are decimated by injuries at some of the most important positions in the game. Not a single team in the SEC (besides MAYBE Bama) could win without the majority of their o-line, starting QB and top RB, amongst other injuries on the defensive side of the ball. Keep in mind we've been starting a true freshman, a back-up center and a walk-on on our line for almost the entire season, it's damn impressive we managed to beat ASU like that.
