I'd be a little surprised if Petrino gets a big time job right away. He'll probably have to go the Middle Upper Western Anonymous State route but somebody will be desperate enough to overlook his transgressions if it means getting some wins.

also another thing that is not being taken into consideration is that from an AD standpiont, yes you want to make a hire that gets the team back into the national discussion, but the one thing that you don't want to do, is to make a hire that blows up the organization, and petrino without question has the capability to do that.

In other words, the rewards can be very high. But the risks involved i just don't see a major AD taking that chance. that is the type of hire that if it blows up will hae an AD looking for a new line of work, frick a new job. There are too many safer hires out there that inmght not have the same upside per say, but they aren't screw this up and find a new career type hires that petrino would be i.

Auburn's Ad is on thin ice as it is, petrino goes down there nad has success for 3 years and then does whatever the frick and has to leave, everything goes to shite, the AD will never direct shite again.

I odn't care either way and in a way i want to see him back.. his teams are fun as shite to watch. but i just don't see it.
