I honestly don't see any similarities......other than both teams are exceeding expectations by winning really close games.

Why does this years team remind me so much of 06? Could it happen again?

No. It will not happen again.

There are some resemblances....2006 & 2012 are stout defensively (except 06 had a lot of srs on defense and thats why we were not as good in 07, even though LSU likes to bring up that game...we only had TWO starters return from 06...fact)

We had sr qb in Leak and this years team looks more 2008 with Tebow with less experience (he was jr in 08)

Y'all can doubt us and if we keep winning what will the excuses be then? 5-0 deal wit it

Even though we had a senior qb, the offense was pretty slow to get started. The defense kept us in games and the offense just made enough plays to squeak out close wins. Much like this year. The O got better as year went on. As far as Tebow goes he just ran short yardage stuff much of the year. I do agree that Harvin was a big difference maker that is absent from this team. I disagree that Baker stretched the field. I saw him more of a possession guy. Anyway a sputtering offense and well above average D is what makes me think of the 06 team.
