Who is your favorite for SEC player of the year, and why?
I'm going to half to go with Connor Shaw. The guy is tough, comes to play, leads his team by making plays, bald head not withstanding, lol. I don't think SC is undefeated without him, simply said. I've only watched A&M once, and not seen State at all. Gawga QB just laid an egg. Hell,I might even put J.Clowney 2nd. I bleed crimson, but I have to be honest. We spread the wealth so one guy doesn't necessarily stand out as much

Matt Elam played like a damn boss on Saturday. Told my buddies multiple times while watching that game that he was my new favorite player.

He's an Aggie. You're just telling him to eat a late dinner

Jonathan Banks because he doesn't talk a lot, is married, works a job, has a great GPA, and in the middle of it all finds a way to be a great football player. I also like Connor Shaw a lot. Third place I give to, dare I say it, Bo Wallace. The kid catches a lot and has struggled some but is doing a lot with very little, not to mention his coach cost him the game and he will probably take a lot of the blame over that pick at the end. With exception of the egg bowl I would like to see him do well.
