I actually want to, saw a preview for it during the Florida Kentucky rape.

I don't listen to hip hop.

I couldn't resist
In all seriousness he was a really good guy I wish he could have had more success as a head coach. He did great things to establish the foundation Mullen has built on.

Kind of tough to watch. Not a very good part of our past in the South. Very proud he went to Alabama and really wanted him to do well at MSU.

I like Croom. I think he is a good man and great father figure to young players. He deserves a little credit for y'alls immediate success under Mullen. He put down a pretty good foundation. Certainly much better than the one Jackie left him.

Coach Croom is probably the most anti hip hop coach in the past 20 years

Unfortunately can't say the same for Rick Ray if you ever read his twitter

He would've been Bama's coach instead of Shula if not for Jesse Jackson.
The board had decided on Croom. Then Jesse comes down and demands that we hire him or we're all a bunch of racists. The board then decided it wasn't going to appear to be pushed around by race-baiters, and went with Shula.
True story.

I'm out of town. Recording it though. He will always go down as a great guy because he recruited me out of high school. Facts don't lie though.... horrible football coach.

Croom
He always struck me as a little cocky. I'll never forget his bowing to the crowd and tipping his cap after the win over Tulane at home
