Have a group of us driving up from Houston (where I live). I attended LSU in the early 90's and went to three LSU/A&M games at Kyle Field (1991, 93 and 95). You guys won each of those games easily...those games were all Labor Day weekend and hot...not fun Glad this year's game is in October. Should be a great game.

Drive safe and enjoy the game! Glad the weather should be a little more agreeable this time as well

LSU/A&M will be competing with Bama/Tennessee and South Carolina/Florida for the 2:30 CBS game...

Remember 290 outta Houston sucks Fridays before Gameday, might be better off leaving early Sat morning.

Where did you hear that? Just had lunch with a group of people and several of them have heard the game could be at night. They are with a company called FMC Technologies and they have an annual tailgate party for 1000 people. They are reasonably well connected at A&M so.... just wondering if the 2:30 doesn't work out, will it then be a night game?

Chicken, I suggest when you get to Beaumont, look for Hwy 287 and then to Hwy 105 to Navasota. At Navasota, turn right on Hwy 6/190 and 20+ miles to College Station.
I love Houston but you will not have the frustration of the traffic going this way.
Just a suggestion.
Have a safe trip.

Tough call with Florida rolling a bit and Tennessee dumping a game they should have won.
If A&M runs out 4 more wins and into the LSU game at 5-1, you have to think we'll be sporting a top 17 ranking, and LSU should still be in the top 5.
But give me LSU coming off tough games @ Florida, vs. South Carolina, and then @ Kyle Field at night any day of the week if we're going to even sniff the spread for that one.

I knowyself and Ball Gravy have pretty good tailgates you're welcome to.
My LSU buddies also have the Bogie's tailgate at the bottom of Victory Hill and they are bringing their trailer to the game to tailgate. They'll likely be setting up at Reed Arena where Ball Gravy is but I haven't confirmed with them yet.
Either way, just hit us up for some free food and booze

I almost hope that CBS passes on us for Bama/Tenn that weekend. Would absolutely love 7PM ESPN kickoff with Kyle Field roaring.

This.
LSU visiting Kyle Field at night will rival Nebraska 2010 in the craziness of the place.

I can't wait for this game. It is going to be awesome ruining LSU's season before Bama gets a chance.

Well that doesn't fit with your 5-7 prediction AT ALL
And yes I've seen that you've crawfished to saying 7-5 but all while giving us no more credit

Outwardly to the rest of the SEC I will say outlandish hype, and never acknowledge any weaknesses of my Fightin Texas Aggies. Beat LSU? Of course we will.
5-7 is still what I think. When gametime rolls around? I have convinced myself my team is going to win. Every single time.

Should be a great atmosphere. College Station will be invaded by drunk cajuns. I love it

We share the same "never say never" attitude, then

if i was wanting to go to CS that day but dont have tickets, just be there to experience the atmosphere, couldn't I watch the game in the MSC? or where do they show the game at? I was at the Florida game and before the stadium opened everyone was in the MSC and it looked like they were on espn, getting ready to watch the game.
