That would be the equivalent of a forfeit. I feel for Hogs fans...beating Alabama at home this year would be huge, but putting in a guy with concussion issues against that defense is such a risk.
Whether this is true or not, I hope Tyler Wilson is 100% soon.

"Petrino was asked after the game if he considered using Mitchell -- who has moved to receiver -- with Allen struggling late. Petrino said it wasn't an option because Mitchell hadn't taken snaps at quarterback in practice."

The article says "if" he is unable to play. "If" is not a confirmation of any sort.
