Perhaps the entire concussion was a conspiracy put in place by Vegas and betting sites to sucker us all in to bet big on Bama.

I watched the replay of the game last night and he didn't get "knocked" out of the game.

He was still at QB on the last drive of the half.

If he had a concussion, it didn't render him unconscious like a bad one would.

That's the only reason I'm holding out hope for him playing.

I didn't know that there was any belief that he'd be available for this weekend?

IF JLS was being truthful Mon when he said Wilson was still a little "fuzzy" (or something like that), there's no way he should be able to be medically cleared to play Sat. Was JLS trying to deceive everyone, including AL, as a tactical ploy? I don't know, but I doubt it.

If true, who is really surprised? Obviously the Hogs don't have an OL that can protect him. Why risk potential career ending injury against one of the best defenses in college football.

Brandon Allen took the last snap of the half.

Really? You think he would go that far as to try to mind frick AL with a tactical ploy after losing to ULM at home? And, would it really even matter? The same AR defense will be playing without one of it's best players now.

The hand off to Davis for the touchdown with 2:28 left in the half was from Wilson.

ULM had the ball for the next 2:10 seconds.

Allen came in to make the hand off from Arky's two yard line like any back up would to run out the clock or take a knee.

My point is, they kept Wilson in there after whatever hit might have given him a concussion and he performed okay.

I am betting Tyler didn't tell anyone about it or it didn't get noticed until after that drive.

Maybe, he's tough enough but it's still very difficult to hide a concussion as a QB.

He got crushed on second down of AR's 2nd to last drive of the 2nd qtr. ULM called a delayed LB blitz. The LB had a 15 yard running start when he hit Wilson w/ his helmet in the upper chest/lower neck. Wilson was on the ground a few moments. The next play, Wilson missed the receiver on an out pattern by 5 yards. On AR's last possession of the second half, the backup QB came in to run out the clock. While Wilson didn't appear to be "knocked out" as in unconsciousness, I'd say he was "knocked out of the game" as he did not return.

While it's true he didn't appear to be unconscious, at least from what we could see from the tv, he could still have a serious concussion. One of the many factors used to determine the severity of the concussion is how long post concussion symptoms continue after the initial concussion. Player A appears to only be a little confused by the concussion, but is still having headaches and dizziness one week later despite no activity. Player B appeared to have been briefly unconscious after the concussion, but is having no symptoms after 48 hours. Which one suffered a bad concussion? Gauging the severity of concussion at the time of the concussion is tricky, at best. It's better to follow the symptoms as the player progresses through his recuperation.

Putting him in there against Bammer would be borderline criminal.

That said, there is absolutely NO WAY IN HELL we cover. We will not score 2 TD's.

It was when he walked back to the bench and tried to pee in his helmet. That's when they knew something wasn't right.

This was Wilson's last drive.

1-10-ARK13 (3:25) Knile Davis rushed for 4 yards.
2-6-ARK17 (2:58) Tyler Wilson passed to Mekale McKay for 61 yards.
1-10-LAMON22 (2:34) LAMON was penalized 15 yards.
1-0-LAMON7 (2:29) LAMON was penalized 3 yards.
1-0-LAMON3 (2:25) Touchdown. Knile Davis rushed for 3 yards.

The 15 yard penalty was a PI call on a nice pass from Wilson.

The three yard penalty was Wilson smartly quick snapping and taking a knee to get an offsides call.

The 61 yard pass was fricking perfect.
