Wait, I thought we were getting the death penalty for the 70th time in 3 years. What happened guys?

What happened is that people don't know what the frick they are talking about around here and it's been a common trend for two years. Love people who think they got the inside scoop only for it to be revealed they are frauds.

Well, as of now, we know that $200 was exchanged between a Mississippi State booster and a player Mississippi State signed, so there's that.
quote:

A summertime 7-on-7 football coach in Nashville says he witnessed a booster give Mississippi State freshman defensive back Will Redmond money.

Byron De’Vinner, who has been interviewed by NCAA investigators, told the Head to Head radio show in Mississippi on Tuesday that he saw a “handshake” between the booster and Redmond and that former MSU receivers coach Angelo Mirando was aware of those benefits.

De’Vinner confirmed to The Clarion-Ledger on Tuesday afternoon that he called into the radio show, and added that the handshake between the booster and Redmond included about “$200.” He declined to answer further questions.

“Will Redmond is a kid that was basically taken advantage of by a booster and by an assistant coach,” De’Vinner said on the radio show.

De’Vinner, who said he is close Redmond’s family, refuted that the booster purchased a Ford Mustang for Redmond.

“But did I physically see inappropriate benefits? Yes, I did,” De’Vinner said, adding that the booster said he mailed Redmond a jacket and “lined up some other things.”

Considering what's been confirmed about MSU, my bets on the AU boards being right.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember anyone ever coming out and saying they saw us pay Cam Newton. We were also searched top to bottom by the NCAA and nothing was found. That's yet to be seen from State.

I think MSU will definitely not end up in the clear. But what ol' boy there didn't mention anything about was Jovon Robinson. So, we'll see.

Officially mark me down as a skeptic.

That's exactly the problem too many people jumping the gun and posting about something they have no idea about.
I don't care if Auburn did anything wrong or not. They have Gene Chizik as a head coach which at this moment should be considered as a major self imposed penalty in it's own right.
