For those of you piling on Auburn and Arkansas, beware.

Each of those teams can have their revenge. Not by beating your teams, but by continuing to suck.

If Auburn loses to ULM, and Arkansas loses to Rutgers and Tulsa after already losing to ULM, the SEC's OOC record goes to crap.

That could conceivably keep at least one SEC team out of the BCS title game, and may affect other conference teams unfavorably at bowl choice time.

Remember, while we may be respected as a conference, we are not liked. At all.

So it might be in your best interest to ease up on your conference brothers, and lend them your support at this difficult time for them.

Just sayin'

Auburn will go 10-3, and Arkansas will go 13-1. Auburn's only loss from here on out will be against Arkansas IMHO

I spoke to Chiz and he tells me he is going to sand bag the rest of the season until he plays the Iron Bowl. He plans on beating the Gumps and causing them to drop further than Arky in the polls there by causing Bama no shot at another NC.

First, i think you meant I could not care less, not i could care less.

second, you better care. Any idea how much money LSU loses out on this season if a second SEC team doesn't make a BCS bowl game, or we don't put 4 other teams in bowl games?

Not to mention a 1 loss lSU that beat up on a 4 win Arkansas team and a 2 win Auburn team plus a 1 win Ole miss team wouldn't exactly have the voters buzzing.

You just identified why we should pile on them. They are making the whole lot look bad.

So you're saying Auburn and Arkansas, even while down, could keep LSU or Alabama out of the BCSNC game? Very interesting. While I haven't though too much about this, I can certainly see the validity.

Negative - can affect us by keeping us out of MNCGs. Let's not forget '03 debacle and Aubbies not in '04 MNC. As long as voting counts for 2/3rds (luckily not much longer) public perception of the conference and SOC count very much.

Ha, well if it's any consolation to you, you're still 3rdRowTrashTalker's 2004 MNC. If you go by Bama/tamu logic you can go ahead and use that to put up another NC at Jordan-hare.

I dont think the SEC was going to get two teams in the title game again this year, no matter what the OOC record is.

hakuna matata friend.

Tennessee has taken the place of Arkansas. Florida/aTm/Mizzou will take the place of Auburn.
Bama and LSU keep steamrolling everyone.
