I was about to say, 'Naw, not really', however you're right, I am touching upon pedantic.

Not my intention however.

Hey, it's all good. I can trend toward being a pedant myself sometimes. I can't even remember what started all this.

Oh yes, it was because this thread, like so many others these days, has become a swirling, snarling mass of diarrhea. You and I just went ahead and hammered the last few nails in the coffin.

Well done, sir.

The swirling, snarling mass was of coonasses and jawja crackahs, and your 'gumpiness' interjected an unsolicited opinion.

No, my gumpiness stated an ineluctable fricking fact.

Randy, your team got grinded on today, it is ok man, you don't have to live vicariously through Georgia to feel better about yourself.

My team being beyond terrible is irrelevant in this discussion.

Terrible is an understatement! I think I would worry about my own coach at this point

(though it was wrong they had to play alabama again)

Now you have gone full retard. Wrong? Says who? Morons like you? What a frigging joke.

Here's a clue, pal: Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's "wrong".

Says who? Most of the college football nation. Do you not remember the overwhelming opinion of people who follow college football last year? Actually you probably don't. Like most bama fans you've probably never been oustide the southeast or read anything other than the Birmingham News or al.com.

There's a reason for years and years and years people have said "the regular season is a playoff". Rematches don't happen. Ask Michigan in 2006 (and I guarantee you were one of the people who would have flipped your shite if UM had gotten a rematch). The only reason it happened is because the other team involved was Oklahoma State and not Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio State, USC, or some other big name team which is further proof how big of a joke college football's championship is.

You had your shot to win legitimately, at home, and you pissed your pants. Congrats on making the most of your second chance, but if the situation was reversed and you had beated LSU in Tuscaloosa and then had to play them again in New Orleans you rednecks would have a bitch fit to end all bitch fits.

Miles backed into the least legit national title in modern CFB history. UGA had better seasons/teams in 02, 04, and were just as good in 07. Miles has the most talent in every game he's ever coached at LSU except for maybe a couple of times against Florida during Meyer's run and maybe the last couple of years against bama yet he loses at least two games every year. Miles had a chance last year to move into elite status but completely shite the bed on the biggest stage

Put the pipe down, its clouding your judgement!..

Like I said...full retard. It's really hard to believe someone can be so stupid. But, hey...I'll play along.

1. Alabama met the criteria for being in the game. So again, your assertion that it was "wrong" is stupid. You sound like a spoiled teenager who doesn't get what she wants?

2. 6 computers and 2 polls of coaches, forme coaches, and ADs said hey belonged.

3. They proved in the game that they belonged.

4. Rematch? So what? Rematches happen in championships all the time...Super Bowl, NBA, MLB. The fact that it was a rematch is completely irrelevant. The problem with idiots like you is that you want to emphasize the first Bama-LSU game and pretend that Okie State's loss never happened.

Oh, by the way, numbnuts. I've actually lived on five continents.

"Most of the nation" elected Obama. How's that working out?

There is no criteria, which is the problem. It's 100% subjective to human bias.

2. 6 computers

Right and computers are a wonderful to determine champions. I won like 5 national titles with Auburn in on NCAA 2010, I guess we should start printing the shirts.

3. They proved in the game that they belonged.

Irrelevant. If the Jacksonville Jaguars had been chosen to play in the Super Bowl last year and then won it it doesn't mean they deserved to be there.

4. Rematch? So what? Rematches happen in championships all the time...Super Bowl, NBA, MLB

All of those have a specific criteria for getting into a post-season tournament. No team is just magically deemed to be better than all others and placed in the Super, Finals, World Series etc...

None of this is alabama's fault but the fact is they were put there solely because Oklahoma State is not a high profile team that would generate a lot of buzz. Which is why the media had to completely change its tune from from everything they said in 2006 and 2007 when it came to needing to win your conference to be in the title game and regarding rematches.

Oh, by the way, numbnuts. I've actually lived on five continents.

I bet you have you e-badass. You would think someone so well traveled would have learned a few things along the way and could make points without using words like frigging and numbnuts or that they could have found a better place to settle down instead of Murfreesboro, TN.
