Uhhhh, Bama had more than that for fan day. You should not post things you don't know about

We have yet to play our first SEC contest and already the entire conference can't stop talking about us.
We love the SEC.
You guy's do need to work on your trash talking. So far it's been weak sauce. Right now you rank between Montana and Iowa State.
Step it up.

Lame? Yes. Except when there are 40 k doing it at 12:30 am. Then it's just bad arse!

Someone making fun of Texas Aggie traditions? I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell ya.
Ags have very thick skin. We hear the same ol' digs yearly/monthly/weekly/daily. In one ear & out the other. Try as you may, you will never utter a clever rejoinder that we haven't heard--probably hundreds of times.
We get it: We do things differently in Aggieland. And all of the "fricking frick those stupid frickers and their fricking traditions" comments from our opponents and haters aren't going to change 100+ years of crazy Aggie antics & very deep-rooted tradition.
Come visit anytime. We may be weird as shite, but we're pretty damn hospitable.

That is pretty good, but dont act like that it is special. Most Of the top SEC tailgating universities like LSU have that many people there on Thursdays setting up for Saturday

After today, the story line will switch from "lame traditions" to "are the aggies really that good".

I think that's damn cool as well. My glass is raised to all of em.
Not sure why everything around here has to turn into a pissing contest. One tradition isn't better or worse than another. I'd rather just say that each SEC school has its own unique and badass traditions.
Enjoy your college gameday Saturday, all!

Because they know it's neat and the idea is to trivialize the noob and what it does.

A lot of Aggies wanted to set up that early (and tried) but they are not allowed to set up before 12:00 noon on Friday per University rules, so they just stand off to the side until they are allowed in the tailgate areas and race to a spot.

Difference between a&m and the rest of the SEC .... the rest of the SEC at 12:00 am was chasing poon at their local bars and partying. At a&m they are all taking direction about yelling from a group of milkmen.
Yeah cool traditions a&m ... when do yall sit on popsicles and guess flavors ... 1 AM?

Well everyone is usually at North Gate before Yell and walk to the stadium, and then everyone walks back to North Gate afterwards. (North Gate is the bar district next to campus)

I think some of their traditions started when they were a military school during WWII etc.Lame tradition is ninty percent of the posters here have never even played high school football yet talk about big hits as if they would know what it's like to give or receive one.
