I think he's going to be TOUGH to block when the plan is to rush the passer. Rewatching the Michigan game, and he just puts one long arm in Lewan's chest and rides him. There's nothing Lewan can do because he can't reach anything but his arm or facemask.
At 6'6" I think he's going to be hard to stop.

I am excited to see him in a pass rush situation, seems like it would be tough to stop him.

I have a big dic - oh, you are saying that his physical condition precludes others from blocking him during the pass rush.

I know all the guys at LSU and UGA are 6'6" with freakishly long arms. But it's exciting for us bama fans that aren't accustomed to this kind of talent.

Hubbard>Mingo
But seriously, Hubbard is about as lean as Mingo.

What's his story? Why is he not a TE?
Seems he is going to be a very good LB, just unusual at that height.

What you idiots are missing is the entire point of this thread. Courtney Upshaw, despite his talent, speed, and power, was always criticized because of his short arms. It hampered his ability to push blockers backwards. Hubbard will not have this problem. And considering his talent, this confirms that Hubbard will almost definitely be an upgrade from Upshaw before the year is over.
