Thanks.
I really hope this doesn't cause our game to be cancelled Saturday.
The forecast is looking better with each advisory though, so I'm trying to stay positive.

When I was stationed in Germany I never could figure out which was jacking my stomach up worse, the MREs, base food or the various Italian resturants around Kaiserlautern and Vogelweh

More than likely the foreign food.
I felt like a dumbass using the MREs for the first time in Katrina. The only complaint I had was that the tissue they give you in the package is just not large enough to wipe my arse with. At all.

I'd rather deal with hurricanes than earthquakes. frick earthquakes.

I'm right in the crosshairs, but I'm far enough inland that winds should be knocked back somewhat. Baton Rouge!

Add tornados to that too. You can see hurricanes coming, the other two just pop up. Granted you get a small warning sometimes with twisters
edit: to the OP. Thanks, but I do love that it is still a TS, unless it has been upgraded in the last couple hours

Same here. At OLOL the Emergency Activation Team goes in tomorrow for two or three days then the Recovery Team (which includes me) for 2 or 3 days. If power is out and no TV football, well that is just going to suck royally.

That is why I am glad I live a block from the mayor's house, and city hall. Can't let them be without power can ya. I hope

A lot of truth in that. I'm pretty sure a call from Kip goes to the head of the line.
