Mizzou and the Jayhawkers didn't have rivalry, they had absolute HATRED! (Now they're afraid to play us again.)
I'm looking forward to cordial, good-sport relations with fans of Mizzou's SEC opponents, but I have to wonder how long it might take to develop not-so-sportsmanlike attitudes towards various "folks".
I think attitudes are shaped by forums like this, where it's hard to avoid escalating trash-talk.

That was one of the better rivalries in any Big 12 sport. Definitely going to be missed.
The fact that both teams actually competed against each other almost every time and played each other multiple times in the regular season/big12 tourney solidified the "mutual" hatred.
What does your wishlist of potential replacements look like?

I'm not looking to hate anyone in the SEC, and I never supposed anyone around there could stoop so low as to remotely resemble a Jayhawker. However, as you see, several (non-Vol) volunteers have stepped forward, and I might have to reassess the situation.

You want a competitive relationship in which you're treated equally BAD - you're in the right place.

God damnit why do our newbs around here have to suck so much at the interwebz. And I'm the furthest thing from a GDI, in fact I guarantee we have a better Greek system than Florida.
