This is just an example.. handle it internally, no need to call it a suspension and get all the bad press
arrest will be 'handled internally,' Alabama official says
TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- University of Alabama Associate Athletics Director Jeff Purinton said today that Brent Calloway's Friday morning arrest will be handled within the Alabama athletics program.
"Coach Saban is aware of the situation and like all other disciplinary action, this will be handled internally," Purinton said.
Calloway, a freshman running back on the Alabama football team, was arrested at 12:49 a.m. Friday on charges of second-degree marijuana possession after a vehicle he was in was stopped for driving without any lights on.
Calloway, 18, was a passenger in a vehicle that police stopped in the 900 block of Paul Bryant Dr. Officers smelled an odor of marijuana as they approached the car and found a bag of marijuana while searching Calloway, according to Tuscaloosa Police spokesman Sgt. Brent Blankley.
Officers transported Calloway to Tuscaloosa County Jail, where he was released on $1,000 bond.

You think Dismukes arrest won't be handled internally? What do you think Chizik is going to do, let the fans vote on it?

Brent Calloway's punishment included being redshirted last season. Apparently he didn't learn his lesson, so he was moved to LB. He continued to frick up so the coaches moved him to safety. In a last ditch effort to save his soul, they moved Calloway to H-Back where it appears that he has finally straightened his arse out.

Honesty how can anyone argue with the hand ling of each case? My only issue is the culture that is established and lack of leadership with the clubhouse. Chizik does a fine job with punishments.

Can something be handled externally?
