Actually in 20 years conference titles from know will be more respected than BCS titles because of the coming playoff. Think about it like this. There are numerous National Titles thy Bama claims that a lot of other fan bases question and say isn't legit. There has never been a question about Bama's 22 SEC titles. Never. It's because you aren't voted into the conf title game.

First I heard of it. But that is hilarious. Mind games on full display right there...
After watching from afar and now being a part of it, I have to say...the drama in the SEC is priceless!
It's like NCAA combined with the WWE, Days of Our Lives, Crossfire, High School, the NFL, the Oscars, the Mafia, and Survivor.

That game was over BEFORE IT STARTED and that is just more evidence to my mind. That display had nothing to do with Miles and everything to do with Saban's psychology and his intensity on THAT DAY. See, you really can't fake that. Biorythyms and shite...
I think Les was all up in Saban's head in November with his uber-looseness. Saban's ritual there, was a study in revenge, imho. He was visualizing it, saying a mantra in his head, like a hockey goaltender in the 7th game of the Stanley Cup playoffs. He was confident and angry. Les was confident and happy.
I think Les could survive that BCS loss.
I think a loss there would have killed Saban.
I think that psychology reverses this year.
I'm sure Les will repay it in kind this November, and this goes on for years to come, if we are all REALLY lucky.

Never once, NEVER has who you lost too outweighed who you beat. If that was the case Mich would've played Ohio st in 06 because Mich lost to OSU by 3 and Florida lost to auburn. It's never outweighed who you beat.
Oh really? In 2007 when you guys lost at home to Arkansas, you dropped from #1 in the BCS to #8, one spot below Va. Tech...a team that you absolutely beat the shite out of to the tune of 48-7 earlier in the year. The polls and computers obviously though your loss to Arkansas and your loss to Kentucky were bigger blemishes than their losses to Boston College and...oh yeah...LSU. Now sure, after the conference championships, LSU was ranked ahead. But after you lost to Arkansas, you were ranked behind a team that you beat the tar out of, because you had uglier and more recent losses.
