I felt sorry for Ark fans after motorcyclegate. Dude is a liability to the program's image AND he's a liar...AND he broke federal law with his dick.
Y'all can do better. Steal Bob Stoops. I bet he is dying to get out of Norman after we proved to the world that Oklahoma is a worthless program to conferences. Or go get Paul Rhodes from Iowa State. Ark is a pretty damn good job for HCs. You should have first pick of just about anybody.

There isn't a chance as long as Jeff is AD. If Arkansas were to get a new AD 5 years from now and Arkansas was going 0-12 each season, then there would be a 1% chance. that is if Bobby does his rehab thing and the new AD is a moron.

Every coach (and hot recruiting coordinator) in the SEC hopes Bobby P is rehired by Arkansas. His return at least opens a small crack in the door of hope to keep all the 5 stars away from the conference soon to be premier program.
Just imagine sitting on a recruits sofa asking momma if theor little baby can be intrusted to a man of Bobby proven character? The LSU, Bama Auburn and Florida's of the world need a fighting chance to attract top talent.

Guys, Bobby P is gone. Wish him well. If we could learn anything from this (and apparently it needs to be said) - don't hire your slam piece.
I'd kind of like to see him go to SMU to recreate their program, but could see him going to Tennessee if their season is a dumpster fire. He's a good coach, just a bad husband and a dim employer.

this is the biggest load of crap, players only want to know if they can be helped get to the next level and where they are gonna fit in on the depth chart and in Auburns case how much money they are getting. Not like all these players family's are straight laced Christians that have never sinned.

This isn't about Bobby 'scoring in the offseason' it's about him giving someone a university salary for banging him. If he hadn't of hired her he might still be there. Heck, look at Rick Petino. Bobby P's a genius, but he's also a snake, and y'all have risen to the type of program that can hire almost anybody. Get through this season, hire a good coach, and move on.

Bobby won't be back @ Arkansas but should Arkansas hire Charley Strong and I hope not but if Long does that, Louisville will take BP back.

Jones is being subsidized privately out of the pockets of +/- 20 prominent alums. He's winning, the program is on solid footing for the first time in decades, they are developing kids to the next level again and this is the best staff he's ever had.
SMU has not yet delivered certain things (alternative academic programs for athletes, indoor practice facility, etc) that I believe have been promised. Not sure why this would be in play for Booby.
I have heard discussions in some coaching circles with ties to Ark staff that the door is not locked on his re-hire. Not that I believe it...
