Georgia could sign around 34 total?

May have been discussed before on this board, I do not frequent very often.
This is taken from the link below. How is this possible? I thought the SEC had instituted new rules about signing over 25 recruits. I can see how a team could maybe get away with taking 26 or 27, but 34???

I guess they expect to count back 9?

Early enrollees and total scholarship numbers. It's likely that we'll sign 30. Maybe a few more.

UGA has as many as 9 committed athletes that will be enrolling early this year. UGA only signed 19 last year in an effort to maximize the numbers they could take and back count this year. With UGA being so far under the 85 max scholarship rule, signing over 30 this year is not out of the realm of possibilities.

I get 32 total in the new rules. I see where UGA people are getting that number from, but it is not as simple as Richt makes it seem here. Richt on Numbers
You can count back guys until the last time you signed over 25 in a season and accumulate numbers this way. Although it gets difficult because you don't know exactly who was an EE(counting back classes).
2012: Signed 19(3 ee's) can only count back 1(18 effectively)
2011: Signed 26(2 ee's) 24 effectively(+1 ee)
So, that gives them the ability to count back 6 EE's this year.

Somewhere in his home Houston Nutt is smiling knowing that Georgia is shoving it to the SEC for trying to make a rule in his name for over signing.

Nutt was in Athens last week with Sirius/XM.
Possibly taught Richt a thing or two about the heppin' bidness.
Having said that, I don't know the exact number, but word is they are looking at approx. 13 EE's and sign around 33-34 total.
