21-0 was by far the biggest fluke. I'm not saying Alabama wasn't better but in no way should that LSU team have played that horrendously. LSU just didn't get that boom play they needed the last few games to get going. If just one of those boom plays happened it would have been a different game, not necessarily an LSU victory but a much closer game.

Son of a bitch; somebody hit the Bama bat signal on this thread. Winning a National Title and still upset over 11/5. I would have taken a loss on 11/5 and a win in the NC game and called it day and wouldn't think twice about it, but what do you expect...

Biggest Fluke last year? Georgia missing LSU, Bama, and Arky in the regular season. Fluke scheduling.

My guess would be South Carolina-Georgia. Georgia really outplayed them, but South Carolina got FOUR non-offensive touchdowns (fake punt TD, fumble return TD, interception return TD, and fumble return to the 5 resulting in a TD technically scored by the offense). What easily could have been a 42-17 Georgia blowout was instead a 45-42 South Carolina win.

Love how people simply choose to ignore how the defense MADE the plays necessary to win the game as a team. Last I checked, football was still a team sport. It may have been abnormal to win that way, but it certainly wasn't a fluke. I am sure Lattimore's 150+ yards was a fluke too.

Brantley basically giving the game away to FSU. We held their offense to 95 yards but still lost by 2 TDs.

Arky finishing 10-2. They were closer to
8-4 than they were to 11-1.

Biggest SEC fluke last year?

I would have to say Oklahoma St missing a 30 yard field goal against Iowa St.

Similar to Dave Wannstedt beating WVU in 2007.

Both are not in the SEC but the biggest flukes affecting the outcomes of the SEC elite teams.
