It's LSU. Y'all can't beat them. On the other hand, State is very beatable,

For the people picking random teams not named Bama (or maybe USCe) to beat LSU, did I miss the part where these picks are for 2013 game upsets?

We have as good an o-line as last year and the same RBs. We won't need to pass the ball to beat anyone but maybe Bama and USCe, because their d-lines are good.

I'd be pretty surprised but not shocked. UM has a pretty good team and Hoke has them in right direction with right attitude.

first game of the year, new players starting on d vs. an experienced QB, and a running qb could catch them off guard if they haven't fully gelled together with some new starters at LB and S.

Yeah, that's the big key, against UM and Hogs really.

Name 3 SEC Upsets that you see happening this year
LSU beats Bama twice

So Bama will be favored? Both times?

Oh so we are not allowed to pick upsets over LSU....I see. You can pick Michigan over Bama because its early in the season, but others are not allowed to pick UW over LSU. Wouldn't want to offend anyone.

I don't see how this is an upset? I would think USC would be favored in that game.

I just don't think they're sensible picks if you're picking only 3 upsets SEC-wide. If we lost 3-4 o-linemen and 3-4 d-linemen, it'd make more sense. But we all watch SEC football and know the game is won in the trenches.

ETA: I'm not offended. I think 2013 would be a better case when we have a new C & RT, as well as probably replacing 2 DEs. The only o-linemen starter we lost will be replaced with a guy who got a 6th year and started before.

Just make your picks buddy. They are called upsets for a reason. They are not supposed to make sense. There was no reason to think UL Monroe would beat Alabama or that Arkansas and Kentucky would beat LSU in 2007, but they did.

I'm not picking the UW over LSU upset but there is a legit argument it could happen. LSU will be cocky, UW will be hungry. UW will have solid experienced starters at QB and HB, LSU will be breaking in a new QB that might melt under the pressure of his first big game.

Michigan went to a BCS Bowl last year and plays on a big stage vs. Ohio St. every year.

I don't think UW's been on that big of a stage for a while. Plus UW is after 1 tune up game; UM/UA is the opening game of the season. The most snafus/game management issues typically arise in the first game of the season and many get corrected for the 2nd week.

And I wouldn't pick UM over UA.
my 3 upsets would be:
A&M over MSU
Mizzou over UGA
Vandy over UT

ETA: I almost made my third upset UGA over bowl opponent
