saban has been coaching for somewhere around 20 years including almost a decade at two of the easiest programs to win at and has one legit undisputed national title. Chizik coached at Iowa State and took over a program in disarray and did it in 4 years.

is this what they are now sending out in the Auburn newsletter for you guys to say?

You aubies are so funny. I hadn't even heard of foster before he decided to switch the you cheaters. I doubt he's any good. Good luck with your half rate LBr we didn't even want him.

He is a good player, but he is kind of short and already weighs 250+lbs. He really wasn't the type of inside Lber Bama has had recently.

Hightower and Ro were both 6'4" 240ish in highschool and played between 255lbs and 260lbs while at Bama.
He is 6'1" and that is being generous and all that weight won't be good for his bad knees.

I think he will be less effective in a 4-3 where he will have to cover more ground and probably will good, but never great player.

Wow, the state of denial and homerism is at an all time high

What's not true about that. It's hard to not be successful at bama and LSU. Iowa St is a coaching graveyard that Chizik got out of as quick as he could and he came to an Auburn program that went 5-7 the year before, fired it's OC in the middle of the year, had two horrible recruiting classes in a row and lost to Vandy for the first time in something like 50 years.

bama was definitely down when Saban got there, but you have to either be a horrible coach or on probation to not have some kind of success there.

Thanks for the enjoyable read this morning. This thread was just what the doctor ordered to get the weekend started right. Now, it will be interesting to see how long it takes Rivals to drop Reuben to a 4* now that he is no longer one of Nicky's boys.

It's 24/7 with the bama bump now, not rivals anymore. Any 24/7 already dropped him to 7 when they re-ranked their 5 stars earlier this week. And Lawson, who has done nothing other than dominate every camp he's been to, especially at the rivals 100 camp against some of the best OL in the country, fell to the last 5 star on their list at 24.

I'm not saying there's a conspiracy, but I'm just sayin...

They do have us with more overall 4 star guys than rivals though.

Ruben was dropped because of his weight and his ceiling is not as high as some other guys. He has pretty much maxed out is 6'1" frame. He weighed 251 LBS @ the opening as highscool MLB not even in 12th grade yet.

He was definitely a better fit for the 3-4. Someone mentioned Ray Lewis regarding his size, but Ray plays in a 3-4 and in highscool was a QB.

He reminds me of a more talented Prince Hall that played for Bama. Hopefully his career will turn out better.

You're an idiot. Why even pretend to be a Vandy fan anymore?

you take $cam out of the equation and that 14-0 season is another 7-6, 8-5 at best. Treat Chiz like the 2nd coming of Christ if you want, but you guys had to pull it out of your arse to beat Northwestern of all teams to finish his 1st year 8-5, sold your soul to the devil to go 14-0 in 2010, then fend off powerhouse Utah State, beat MSU with some hokus pokus goal line stop, and beat a likely drunk Stephen Garcia to finish another 8-5 when it could have easily been 5-8.

And just saying it's easy to win bc it's LSU or Bama is a weak point. It's the SEC amigo. It's not easy at any school to button up the Bike shorts, put on the whistle and enjoy 10 win seasons every year.

It's not hard to be successful at LSU or Bama? Remind DiNardo, Hallman, Shula, and DuBose how easy it is.

But we did beat them, unlike say UL Monroe or UTAH.

I just want to point out that RF's commitment thread is 16 pages more than the Alabama recruiting thread. Sad times over there in T-Town

I forget the majority of posters on this site fit the 19-25 age range. Hitting me back with a U MAD gif is pretty boring as well as something about Utah or ULM. Step it up kids.
