Ohhhhh, the roaches are crawling out of the cracks now. Btw, my point is it still took some luck that year for Bama to win the NC. Just like this year.

Nothing Lucky about being better than every team in the country which Bama was in 09.
Bama was also better than every team in the country in 2011.
LSU fans need to stop comparing their program to Bama's its annoying and only diminshes the proud history of LSU.
LSU has nothing to be ashamed its a great program just not to the level of Bama.
I know beating Bama is the measuring stick for alot of the LSU fans, but the goal is the raise the Crystal at the end.
Again 4 SEC teams have raised the trophy since LSU last won the championship. 2007 Seems like a long time ago.
2012 will be the best shot LSU will have for awhile.

Point is this preseason #1 has got alot of Tigers way too cocky for a team that just got their shite pushed in not too long ago NOLA.
Facts are Auburn,UF,and Bama twice have won titles since that 2 loss magical season LSU had in 07.

Did you not see your offensive line get any push at all. Did you guys get somebody over the summer better than Hurst to pass-protect?
Is Ford going to be the best back this year, oh wait Ware is the best, or was it Hilliard, must be Jeremy Hills turn this year.
You still have no offensive game changers and you added a Qb that is not mobile to a offensive line that got exposed in pass protection.

This is possible, although LSU has been getting very good recruiting classes and the talent level is still very high. I agree though, great chance for LSU to win it's 5th SEC Title and 3rd National Title in the last 12 years....pretty good run.

Most lsu fans know that they destroyed every single team they played last year, except bama, which they went 1-1 with. Most know that the lsu defense will be even better than last year, and the offense will be significantly improved, with special teams about the same. Most know that bama lost it's defense.......troll all you want....the #1 or #2 ranking has nothing to do with expectations. This lsu team will just be better than last, and possibly more hungry....that's where the expectations arise. I'm sorry that lsu getting ink really makes you bitter....

Thats all good, but after Bama leaves Miami with the 3rd National Championship in 4 yrs will the tigers find some other team to try to create a rivalry with.
Maybe Freeze can pull Ole Miss back to respectable levels. Hopefully Miles will fare better against him than he did Nutt.

Man oh man please stop. You say 'spot on' then immediately quote an UA stat. Let UA worry about UA and LSU worry about LSU. Just my opinion but let's just be concerned about LSU winning the games ahead, a chance to repeat as Conference Champ, a chance to win the bowl game this year. Let the other fanbases worry about their own club.

okay...you have won 1 title in 5 years with Saban.....I know, I know....you won 2 NC's....which makes winning SEC harder to do, although not more prestigious. Fact is, WHEN LSU wins the SEC this year, it will be the 3rd SEC title for Miles in 8 years.....compared to 1 in 6 for saban......with a great shot at another NC for miles....of course we will have to see how the mulligans come out before we get ahead of ourselves...it will still be hard to beat the same team twice if that happens again.

The o-line was very good all year. They had a bad game against a very motivated Bama team. It happens. Also, why do you think players not in Bama gear can get just slightly better?
