Surprised us to Crispy, just like Rettig. Kragthorpe is doing an excellent job recruiting at that position. The one area we have got to improve...

I think the fact you're taking two QB's most definitely means one or two of those guys wont be QB's at LSU.

Most fans are ecstatic over this....some think it may effect Rettig, but he knew all along we were taking two QBs

I'm excited about this kid. I watched a few plays and saw that he can do something I haven't seen one of our QBs do in 4 years. He hit WR in stride.

Most have indicated that Rettig was well aware of this going down, so as long as that's the case, this is great news.
Nobody is down on him, just some can't help themselves from injecting Jordan Jefferson into any conversation imaginable. He's a black quarterback that can run for a first down so every idiot poster that can't move past last year naturally loses his mind and derails threads.
Outside of Mett, I think every quarterback on our roster is questionable. Randall is not a QB and has already worked out at WR during last year. Liggins was a necessary sign due to depth but who knows if he gets into school or every contributes.
So getting these guys is a necessity. We're really doing well OOS this year.

Jennings has more touch and accuracy than Jefferson, better field vision, better instincts, quicker release, and continues to scan the field looking to throw rather than run when the pocket breaks down.
Other than being black guys with good athleticism, there is really nothing similar between them.
