HUGE Rivalry game between these in-state powerhouses....the NCAA rarely have these two ballclubs play each other in regionals, because both are usually hosting and both have very large fanbases.
The Game is scheduled to start at 4:00 pm today and will be televised on ESPNU...
Clemson (34-26) will start Fr. Daniel Gossett (RHP 6-3 4.50ER 70.0IP 79SO 36BB) in today's game. It's no secret who the Yardcocks are sending to the mound:

With their 7-0 win over Manhattan in Game #2 yesterday, the Gamecocks (41-17) have now won a NCAA-record 17 straight postseason games and are 9-0 all-time at Carolina Stadium in the postseason. The Gamecocks have also won 20 consecutive postseason games at home...

Both teams are kind of scuffling as they come into this game today: The Gamecocks are 3-5 in their last 8 games with their win over the Jaspers, while Clemson is 3-6 in their last 9 games with their victory over Coastal Carolina in Game #1....
