I think he is a good coach and his pressers are always a good laugh but he is one of the dumbest coaches in the conference.

He is great at many many things. He is a little slow in a few areas. I can never make up my mind, similar to most LSU fans. So many times I have thought he was a complete dumbass. But look what he does every year. I don't know what to think.

Witnessing the "Mississippi Meltdown" in person has probably forever skewed my opinion of him honestly.

I think he is kind of goofy and not a great x and o guy. But I think he gets his players to play hard for him and for LSU and that is half the battle as the HC.

There are several coaches that LSU could get that I would be MORE worried about than Les Miles though.

Kind of weird but a good coach.

I'd take him at AU.

He's the greatest troll in the history of the SEC. Well, actually maybe the second greatest after this guy.

First, I'm a CLM homer (someone has got to defend him). But to be brief
Cons: High profile flubs (2009 OM, 2010 UT, 2011 BCS CG, others?).
Pros: This suffices
Plus, against gurus
Saban 3 - 3
Urban 3 - 3
Petrino 2 - 2
Spurrier 2 - 0

I was only truly disappointed in him once, throwing JJ under the bus after OM game. Not a coaching mistake but a moral lapse. Though if this is the worse thing he does, I'll be quite happy.
I knew club had right guy in 4th quarter of 2005 Peach Bowl versus the Canes. I only considered wanting him gone at end of 2010 season and before Crowton left. If he kept Crowton for 2011 I would probably want him gone.

this is a classic

Les Miles "The Most Interesting Coach in the World"

-He once played an April Fools joke ...on 92,000 people ...in October.
-He once scored a TD on a fake FG, so 3 years later he added a bounce pass to it, just to see if he could.
-He is mentally challenged and still able to challenge you mentally.
-He has been undefeated in regulation (2007), and defeated in regulation (TN), while still being undefeated.
-He drinks tabasco to warm up the ice in his veins.
-The only man to ever lose to and defeat a 10-3 Defense at the same time.
-He has never seen a glass half empty, only one he wants to be full.
-He uses the word "want" as both a verb and noun in the same sentence.
-He will build a lead at half and then let the other team come back just to make things interesting.
-He once bought a thesaurus, just to throw it away.
-He once simplified an offense that opposing defenses have already figured out.
-His organ donor card also lists his hat.
-He has never lost a game, he only finishes second.
-He once recruited the top QB in the land, just to prove he could play wide receiver.
-He can make comparisons about the excitement of reading books without ever having read one.
-He recruits 5 star talent simply to keep other schools from having it.
-His hat has turned down head coaching offers.
-He hates the guy who doesn't make the coffee and complains about how it tastes.
-He once lost in overtime, just to know what it felt like to be undefeated in regulation.
-He manages the clock by forgetting it's even there
-He has a want to get a guy more touches without actually wanting to get a guy more touches.

He is.......THE MOST INTERESTING COACH IN THE WORLD.

A few tweets about Les Miles:

Igotnuttintosay Am I wrong in concluding that Les Miles must be the smartest coach in college football. And if so, how frightening is that?
DannyFordIsGod Les Miles knew that Easy Button from Staples was a good purchase this summer. #LSU

hunterbeaumont Les Miles is the SEC's favorite drunk uncle. Nobody wants him as their dad, but it's entertaining to have him around.
BFeldmanESPN I think Les Miles flosses his teeth with razor blades.

Well, if this is an act:

Overall Record at LSU 75-17
Record vs. Unranked Teams 44-4
Record in Tiger Stadium 43-6
Record in SEC Regular Season Games 41-15
Record vs. Top 25 Teams 31-13
Record vs. SEC Western Division 26-9
Record in SEC Home Games 22-6
Record in SEC Road Games 19-9
4th Quarter/OT Comeback Wins at LSU 18
Record vs. Top 10 Teams 12-9
Wins over coaches with a national title * 13
Record in Bowl Games 5-1
Record in BCS Bowl Games 2-0
BCS National Championships 1
SEC Championships 2

Then I wish we could find someone at AR that would "act" just like this.
