Why do people think UGA is going to be good?

I understand how so totally awesome Todd Grantham is and how UGA's defense is pretty dirty.
The problem is their offense is going to blow. They were incredibly thin on the OLine last year and people thought one injury could be the difference between wins and losses.
This year? They are losing two All SEC OLineman and an ALL SEC TE. Still trying to figure out who they are going to replace them with. 4/6 primary blockers will be gone from last year with no heir apparent to replace them.
Also, Brandon Boykin is gone too which is pretty huge.
I just don't see how UGA can beat USCe and UF this year considering what they have lost. Even Auburn will be tough this year with their DL returning every starter

Jay Rome will replace Orson Charles. I'm not that worried about it.
On O.line I'm only worried about RT and we have about 5 guys competing for the spot so hopefully one of them is worth a damn.

O RLY? Richt landed the #1 RB in the country (according to many services) to join the returning SEC Freshman of the Year who will undoubtedly get better.
Our O Line wasn't even special last year, Theus will come in and start on game 1 and fit in just fine. Jay Rome is a beast and will take over for OC7.
The WR corps is deep, even with Malcolm Mitchell sharing duties on defense.
IF Murray contains the turnovers there is no reason why UGA can't beat USCe and UF.

2. Our offensive line wasn't that great, but the biggest problem was our RBs were headcases and constantly hurt. WE have great depth at RB now
3. Boykin is gone yes, but we still have a good group of CBs and Mitchell is going to be a CB (who Boykin said was the best even though he was a WR last year)
4. Jay Rome is going to replace Charles which is a step back, but Rome showed serious skills during the Gday game.

I think UGA is going to be damned good. Murray's an adequate QB and they now have quality depth at the RB position.
The only thing they should have a worry about to me is their OL.
They are easily the favorite for the East title, but no shoo-in.

1. We know who's replacing Orson. I think after his time here Jay Rome will be considered the better of the two.
2. Oline is a question mark. I actually think we'll be ok there. Not great or anything but good enough.
3. Our special teams an secondary worry me more than anything. Two freshman handling kicking duties and thin at corner at the beginning.
4. Remember we have the crow. All bets are off. Heisman.
If we get past MO I think we win the first 4 and settle in for a really solid stretch run. Your doubts are justified though.

I don't think they will be that good, but their schedule is weak.

They may not be that good, but they will be good enough to win the East. The East is still down right now. I'd say we're another year from there being any real competition on our side of the SEC.

I think they`ll be better than last year. Can`t ever say they are going to suprise anyone because they are always ranked so high in the preseason. Anytime you`ve got a qb who can win the game for ya and a RB like IC, your going to be competitive with every team. I don`t know, maybe the last few years they`ve just been missing a few pieces and lacked leadership. Get the feeling that arron murray is a hit or miss, Dawg fans will say hes a competition hungry gunslinger but qbs like that usually don`t win rings unless they have a nasty defense.
