Auburn

Last Year: 8-5 overall, 4-4 in SEC, Chick-fil-A Bowl Champions

Projected Starters Returning: 18

3 Toughest Games: LSU, Arkansas, Alabama (also Clemson at home, at Georgia)

Should Contend For: A bowl bid

What fricking retard wrote this?

Auburn went 8-5, returns everyone basically, upgrades at coaching, and they'll only contend for a bowl bid? What a moron.

Should contend for a January bowl, IMO.

Also, the Clemson game is neutral, and they play UGA at home.

The retard does not even know how to READ a schedule... Have zero idea who wrote this crap, but predictions are like A-holes, everybody has one...

Well since Arkansas, Alabama and LSU are all in the same division, return significantly better teams, and 2 of the 3 have vastly superior coaching, looks about right.

Maybe he's taking the schedule into consideration. LSU, Arkansas, Alabama, Clemson and Georgia will likely be favored to beat you and all five did beat you soundly last year. In addition, you have a couple of could-go-either-way games with Mississippi State and Texas A&M. Hell, even Vandy in Nashville isn't the gimme it used to be. It wouldn't take much going wrong to put you at 6-6 or even 5-7, and it will take a significant upset for you to do any better than 7-5. Remember that it took a fairly big upset at South Carolina for you to finish 7-5 last year. I think contending for a bowl game is the right level to forecast for Auburn in 2012 right now.

Given his categories of things to contend for (BCS championship, BCS bowl game, SEC championship, SEC division championship, bowl game and last place in the SEC), which one do you think fits Auburn better than "bowl game"?
