I know all AU fans won't agree, but if we go 2 and out -- or fail to make the SEC tourney altogether -- I think it's time for a change.

And no, this isn't a kneejerk reaction to losing 2 to South Carolina, because the 'Cocks are a dang good team.

We consistently have some of the worst defense and pitching in the conference. We have an alarming habit of losing to inferior teams. And the sheer coaching is suspect. Why do we constantly play for the small inning (i.e. bunting 2 freaking batters into the game. Quit giving away outs in the first inning, and let the hitters HIT!)? JP acts like we have the best pitching staff in the country, and we just need one run to win. Don't understand it at all.

We're 1-7 in our last 8 league games, including getting swept by the league's worst team. It's inexcusable for a coach in his fourth year.

Getting swept by this Alabama team should be the lowest point in recent au baseball history.

I would tend to agree. And we lost 2 of 3 to Tennessee last year. Tennessee was the SEC's worst team. Nearly cost us an SEC tourney bid.

We've been mediocre in baseball for over a decade now. Pawlowski's success didn't start at charleston until his fifth year. I'm willing to give him one more year to get it fixed and if he doesn't he can hit the fricking road

I want him gone. I know a couple former baseball players( from the 80's and 90's), and they don't like him at all. They say most of the current players are getting tired of him too. I hope they are wrong, but it doesn't look like it.

I cringed when y'all got Pawlowski. I had followed his career. I am surprised he doesn't have Auburn playing better. Shocked, really.

The Regional year gave me a lot of faith in the guy's abilities. These past two years have been frustrating to watch, though. We are the complete opposite of clutch.

I've got a little more patience with him than you do, I'll even give him another year. But if we flop next year it's time to move on.

Losses to Bama and Tenn are definitely inexcusable, but you're in a division with Arkansas, LSU, and the Mississippi schools, not to mention drawing whatever top east teams in any given year. Auburn is in a tough spot, and unless they can make a homerun hire--like Tennessee did this offseason--they're gonna need to be patient, imo. Auburn will pack their place in and really support the sport if they get a winner and that's a HUGE plus for making the sort of hire that you need to, should Paws fail. Look at what Henderson is doing at Kentucky, no one had any idea they were capable of this, maybe it turns out to be a flash in the pan, but alot of people were starting to write him off before this season.
