John Gruden has literally been linked with every single college job since he was at Tampa Bay. He's like the Kevin Bacon of College Football Coaching jobs.

It would be cool if he came to Arkansas, but what's up with all the secret squirrel shite? I mean he either says yes or no. Why are people supposedly "in the know" the only ones who know anything? It's not like they hold National Security secrets and have top secret clearance and shite. It's effin football, they need to quit building up the suspense and either go with it or squash the rumor.

It builds up suspense and drama. The longer it goes on the better it makes Arkansas look as a job. It is a great job right now and appeals to a lot of coaches. Those in current gigs and those wanting to add a possible championship to their resume. That is why we have to be careful.

I don't think he is going to Arkansas, but if he does it will be an interesting hire. For the most part College coaches don't compute to the NFL and vice verse. Rarely does one or the other succeed when they make that leap.

Successful NFL coaches pretty much never make that leap.

This. Typically its the coaches that failed and come down the ranks to college ball.
