I don't even know if that was the 2nd team defense...

Tyler Wilson just threw a 60-yd TD pass to Chris Gragg. Again, this is all coming against 2nd team defense, but he's having a good day.

he still had to check down receivers and work the progressions. Dude is the next Joe Montana --- he will start for some NFL teams next year.

If they get an Interim, are we going to have to hear Gruden to Arkansas rumors for a whole year?

It was actually 1's and some 2's vs. some 2's and 3's.

There will be a running thread of it from now until December.

I just can not figure out why he would not say that he is NOT coming to Arkansas. I watch his coaches show and the man flat out teaches football technique. He is a coach --- and would coach pee wee, pop warner, high school, college and the pros. He would be successful at coaching chess, just the way he is built.

Tyler Wilson number 1 QB taken in the the 2013 draft. Book it.

Wilson is hybrid, has Joe Montana's footwork combined with Dan Marino's arm and with a built in Bret Farve toughness.

how bout that?

Has he been asked about it? Has this been discussed outside this board and hogville?

Well, perhaps he wants to become the third coach ever to win a superbowl and a college football championship.

EVERY SINGLE ONE has Arkansas ties.

(yes I know there's a guy that won a college championship and an NFL championship, but it was pre-super bowl)

Jimmy Johnson - Player at Arkansas on the real 1964 national champions, you know the undefeated ones that didn't lose to Texas.

Won the title at Miami and the Superbowl at Dallas.

Barry Switzer - Assistant Coach at Arkansas during the real 1964 championship season.

Won the title at Oklahoma and the Superbowl at Dallas

Now, Jon Gruden won the super bowl with Tampa Bay and in order to win a college title he has to come to Arkansas.

With Tannehill potentially going 3 in this draft (still crazy) and the Petrino firing, Wilson made a mistake not coming out this year. Wilson would be a lock for 3 and could possibly be taken over RG3.

You have to claim QB Wilson is as smart as the Ivy leaguer at Buffalo that got a perfect Wonderlic score

There's no way in hell that Wilson would have been taken over RG3..

He can beat out Barkley this year with a good season.

This is what happened, form what I can find out.

Daly tweeted that Gruden was interested in the job and he called Jeff Long about it. Long goes after Pete Carrol and makes contact but it is more of a who do you think we should hire thing. He pushes Moouch for the job which will not happen. Daly tweets again that he placed a call to JL about Gruden and Gruden stated that he had not heard from Arkansas.

Mort said on Friday's Bo show that Gruden was not coming but he never denied it. Someone close to the situation told Daly to shut up on tweeter and he has said no more about it. All is quite and then some people with inside sources on some of the hog pay sites state that an agreement has been reached in principle and that the contract needs to be worked out. He would be like a figure head type coach.

I do not know but I do not think we get him, it would be too good to be true.

Understand Penn State is not the jewel that the University of Arkansas is however the amount of misinformation was insane. We had insiders info spawing rumors of bank breaking deals to Nick Saban, Les Miles and none other than Jon Gruden
