yup...I've heard that a KC game is as close to an NCAA game as you can experience in the NFL...

Sounds like a busy weekend! You should stay Saturday night in Columbia if you can.

Yes the game is scheduled for a noon kick off.
It's the season opener so you might want to get there early because there's a lot of taligating at the Chiefs games you would enjoy. Gates open 3 1/2 hours prior to kickoff

Chiefs games are usually noon or 3pm. If you can find a room in Columbia, you could easily get to KC in plenty of time to tailgate Sunday if you want.
I'm just thinking if we end up with an evening kick-off, you won't want to drive to KC after the game.

That looks like a fun weekend. I'd cut the tourist thing short in St. Louis, it's really not a very nice city to tour...

K... I'll call it stuck in St.L until the Cards game starts..

This sounds a lot like the trip a bunch of LSU fans did when we played South Carolina on Saturday then the Saints played the Panthers on Sunday. I knew a few people who made the trip and they said it was the best trip ever.

Oh, I gotta disagree with you there. Depends on what you want to do. Forest Park is 2nd only to Central Park in size, and it has a fantastic zoo that's free. Great art and history museums there as well, and 18 holes of golf.
Downtown, there's the arch, the brewery tour, etc. Not to mention a Cards game. And nothing beats the burgers and atmosphere at Blueberry Hill in U-City, or the Italian food on the Hill.
St. Louis is full of gardens, museums, restaurants, shopping, etc. I think there's a Cardinals museum there at the stadium too.
Tell me what you like, and I'll give you some ideas for the day.

That's why we prolly drive back from CoMo Sat nite... all are in their 40's so Sorority chicks are prolly outta the question, no need to stay in Co & drive back Sun. morn (unless it's a 7pm KO)....

Nothing major...Prolly be a late morning start..we were just think about doing the Arch, maybe the Bud tour, we like to sit around, people watch, eat & drink
preferably somewhere close to the stadium before the game... Friday will be a low key day other than the BB game
