Mississippi State will commemorate one of the program's most famous games in recent memory -- maybe the most famous game

Would most State fans agree with this?

Please, Please let us wear the old school uniforms that we wore in that game.

Smoke Ring, you will learn there are a TON of posters who act like 8 year olds on here. Usually they are from Auburn.

Looking forward to you guys coming to Starkville this year.

pretty much. There are some that give it a run for it's money. It wasn't close to the biggest, but it might be the most famous.

Most of my favorite Mississippi State football memories are from between 1998 and 2000 with the 2007 goal line 102 yd pick six against Bama and our win at Florida in 2010 in there as well.

Hopefully this season will be a season of new memories.

Back to the Snow Bowl, of course everybody remembers it because we are in Mississippi, it was the first game I had EVER known a team from Mississippi to play in the Snow.

It was a big win for Coach Mullen going to his former school and beating his former boss. I remember it b/c where i was when I was watching it and the fun I had that night.

I was happy we beat Florida in 2003 but I just couldn't help feeling that the OBC with Grossman would have skullfricked us into oblivion. The Swamp was awesome to see like you said

Why is an Independence Bowl being commemorated? Is Texas A&M going to try to commemorate the 1988 "Hurricane Bowl" when Alabama comes to College Station in 2013?

Its NOT. Its the fact that Mississippi State is having a White Out and wearing white helmets that game along with all white unis to commerate the fact that we played in a freaking snowstorm.
