Plenty of you made it clear prior to today's announcement that you would respect us much more if we cut ties with BP. Well we did, and we are now screwed as far as w/l's go. Please don't kick us while we are down. Reasonable hog fans now know two things.....
1. Beginning immediately we will not be competitive. We went from 1-3 losses this upcoming season to 4-6 no matter who is hired.
2. Jeff Long's next hire will be monumental fail. His choices (Grobe and Bowden) before BP fell into his lap prove that.
I know we have gotten under your skin the past few seasons, but it was all in good fun. We now humbly enter the two Mississippi schools (no offense) domain

look, i really feel bad for alot of hog fans. hey, in 2003, i dealt with, in the span of six months, francione kicking us in the nuts, the ncaa kicking us in the nuts, mike price kicking us in the nuts, and hiring shula. things will suck for a little while, but shite, bad times cant last forever.

The OP is thinking 4 to 6 losses, no matter who is HC.

Kniles Davis is really good. That's not going away.
a nice passing attack.
I only saw Ark vs LSU and Bama last year, so I cant judge the defense, against a lesser opponent.
I love Kniles Davis. If he lasts the season, Ark will be in every game, because Davis plus a good passing attack is going to be powerful.
Buck up. I could head coach those guys to 8 wins myself.

You got a few good years. That's cool.
Life is about changes. everything changes.
Go with it. Its a lesson that's not all that painful.
