So where are all the hog fans on here sitting on the fire petrino issue. I have no desire to read what i'm sure is a wonderful thread right now.

I don't know, I just read the OP. It was funny.

"We should remove Petrino and move on from him, but lets bring his brother or his closest assistant"

Makes alot of sense.

I don't want him fired. If we *have* to for some reason and we can get a coach just as good (be hard to do), I'd be okay with it though (unless he went to another SEC school or Texas).

I am torn. If we can replace him with a solid coach, I am fine with letting him go. His recruiting was OK at best and it definitely just got worse. He is a genius on the field and an incredible developer of talent but he took us for idiots by trying to cover this up. I could not care less who he screws in his own time but he hired a frick buddy, lied about it to us openly and his AD privately, and to me most importantly it all happened during spring training.

I care about winning games, but this will cost us some recruits for years, will be a constant distraction, and shows he isn't one hundred percent focused on winning games. Even though he is a great coach, I think we can get a better complete package.
