How exactly am I being self-righteous? My dad drives a bike, but my dad isn't paid a million dollars to do his job. A lot of people are counting on Petrino not to kill himself on a motorcycle. It just seems irresponsible IMO.

Not too smart. Remember all the as*holes out there driving and texting. On a motorcycle you are not in control of your own destiny. Cars are bigger and you will lose if they decide to run you over.
