What about the rampant drug abuse and poverty? They have plenty of squalor and plight to be considered Southern.

As for academics not being Southern, we need schools like Mizzou and Vandy to boost our GPAs and grad rates.

I don't think Mizzou is even in the top half of the conference when it comes to rankings. If they are, it's barely.
