So you are celebrating the fact that a guy who could not beat Neiko Thorpe for a job will now be a starter?
You mean true freshman Erique Florence?

Without a doubt.
He got be a 1st round pick a couple years from now if he keeps his head on straight. He has a great combo of speed and hitting ability. He'll make everyone forget about Neiko Thorpe's suckish play.

and Mett is FAR superior to Lee and JJ, even though he played this year and couldn't beat either out. The proof is in the pudding. HS "stars" don't mean anything if a coaching staff fails to develop the players.

While true, in most situations coaches will always go with experience over talent, Auburn won an MNC with this formulae in 2010, there was far more "talent" on the bench than on the field but experienced paid off.

Noone is talking to you, SwampTider.
BVG and Willie Martinez will have Erique ready. Also, the only reason Mett didn't start over Jefferson/Lee was because of Les Miles' love fest with both. Plus, Mett didn't have any experience on the SEC level.

AU supposedly had some great OL signees, yet Moseley and Greene got pushed all over the field last year by decent Defenses. If the youth was that good, they would have played, just to GET experience. A lot of the 2009 & 2010 AU classes are no longer with the team. AU was playing the best they had in 2010.

Who hired Roof?

we only had a true freshman behind him
Who would be responsible for such things?

You football knowledge...sucks.
Greene was a DE when he got to Auburn, jackass. Mosley will be drafted. Wow, just wow.

Which would explain some of the troubles we had.
What point are you trying to make, exactly?

From a Bama fan, I hate these types of posts from any fanbase(including my own). It's always sad when a group throws a player under the bus who (presumably) stayed out of trouble, did what his coaches asked of him, gave it his all for 4 years at his school, but just maybe made some high profile mistakes.
With that being said, thanks. Some of those pictures brought up some good memories.

It may be acceptable to Auburn for their players to go out and perform, but at Bama we win titles because we expect nothing less than domination.
