You be the judge, interesting article nonetheless though.

Surprisingly ECU and the SEC would be a great match

Sorry, I'll try to control my excitement about a team from the midwest with a mediocre football team/stadium/town joining the conference better next time.

Yes. I'd love ECU over Mizzou.

ECU has an endowment of 130 million. They would the poorest school in the SEC by far, in this scenario.

Obvious troll thread. Guess you're still mad about being beaten twice by a "mediocre midwest school" in 06 and 07.

Trade ECU for Ole Miss in the West. It would make the West even tougher.

Provided link to a reputable newspaper with an insightful article, so swing and a miss.

Not at all, anyone could've beat us with Orgeron, shite even Wyoming did, so wouldn't thump your chest too much about that. I'm "mad" that we're getting a school that doesn't fit in with the culture of the SEC and brings a shitty football venue and even shittier baseball venue to the table.

A year or two from now the lower tiered "bubble teams" in the SEC will really wish they had the gimme win over an ECU to make them bowl eligible.I'd be mad too if they added a Mizzou to my already tuff schedule

Kansas City's market contains less than a million sets, about a third of what the Charlotte/Raleigh/Greenville area markets would give the league. Add in St. Louis and Springfield and you're getting more in the ballpark when comparing TV markets but the RDU and Greenville markets are both projected as growing markets by Neilsen, while St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield are all projected to get smaller. Also, some of this paragraph is factually wrong. The writer needs to re-do his research.

Ole Miss can't be "traded". They are a charter member.
