Who's the rant got?

I assume Florida although they're in a slump as well. I just feel we have too many distractions to overcome, Grant could make his money tonight though.

We'll play hard for sure without Mitchell in there much like Auburn. Losing Green is too much though.

Gators 72 Tide 64

Same coaching tree, similar X's and O's, the Gators just have better players.

Bama 64

Swamp Lizzards 60

Our players step up knowing that we have to have this game, and the fact that Florida doesn't play well on the road...

I wanted to pick us so bad, just didn't want to get my hopes up

Would be a great time for this team to get hot. This is basically a preview of next years team

We're playing without Yeguete and may have to play Beal at PF. Young is injured. Our frontcourt is a frickin disaster now.

Guard Mike Rosario injured too, correct? We have our two best NBA talents out and Florida has their key role players out.

I have no expectations for this game. Having Relford and Steele back will help but I just feel like Florida is gonna come in smelling blood and hit us hard and fast and try to put us on the run early. They will probably try to put our bigs in foul trouble early, which wont be that hard given home court officiating this year. It's like they are trying to make up for the ridiculous home cooking they had going last year. (SEC wide mind you, not just in Bama games)

I think our defense will hold them under 70, I just dont think our offense will be able to put up enough to match them.

Good guys 60

I'd love to say Bama, but I just don't think it will happen.

Feel bad for saying this, but that will only help.

If UF is making shots, we win. If we're cold, Bama wins. It's that simple.

Yup, it shouldn't be a excuse though since Bama's key players are out too.
According to the coaches, this is a "do or die" game. Donovan mentioned NIT too. Sounds like a similar situation with Bama so it'll be an interesting game.

-Steele needs to have a big game defensively and on the boards.

- Jacobs needs to make sure they are out physicaled.

- Full court pressure all night. Playing more zone on the back end than they did in the LSU game.

Donovan mentioned NIT?

Your team has played at Ohio St at Syracuse and at Kentucky. You can afford to lose this one, so please lose.

Yup. The year after the 2nd championship, the team went 18-3 and then bombed away to the NIT.

Why would Bama not be playing in the tourney? All the conventional numbers (RPI, SOS) are there.

For now but if Greene doesn't return, wins are going to be difficult to come by.

You only have 2 more away games. According to KenPom, Bama's expected to win the rest of their games, including the one tonight. It doesn't take the suspensions into consideration but who knows if Bama plays as well (addition by subtraction)?

Is he gonna take "Florida" off the jerseys if they lose too?!

It all depends on when/if Green comes back. Without him we have no one who can even limit a decent post scorer. Jacobs and Engstrom are horrible on defense and suck at rebounding.
