I was there for the 2010 Iron Bowl and I don't think I'm like to forget it. I think even if I'm 90 years old with Alzheimer's I'll still remember that moment. fricking terrible

Let's Kick it up a notch:
Pure Joy:
Football- Bama 2010, CLM will never beat Bama, the reverse, the whole thing was just fantastic

Basketball- Ricky Blanton with the layup to beat UK in 1986 and LSU to the Final Four, what a fricking ride that was

Baseball- Warren Morris, nuff said

Pure Pain:
1979 vs USC
1981 vs Indiana Final Four that was a NC team

be4 someone says 1-9-12, I saw it coming, history with rematches etc so while a letdown, I wasn't shocked except they didn't show up

Best Win: No. 20 LSU 31 No. 2 Tennessee 20 in the 2001 SECCG

Worst Loss: Not sure because hindsight is always 20-20. The national title loss, however, is mine. Due to the way the loss was. Close is @ Auburn in 2004, 10-9.

best 92 title game, 99 sec title game (just because no one thought we'd win, much less dominate the game) 08 Georgia (b/c i KNEW we were back after this) 09 SEC title game.

Worst- 97 iron bowl, 94 sec title game, La monroe.

dont understand why everyone says this, its simply not true. Before this game there had been 3 rematches in recent memory. FSU-florida 96, bama florida 99, 2003 LSU Georgi. the team that won the first won the second game 2 out of 3 times.

The whole "it was a rematch and so it was harder excuse" is just that. an excuse.

Best win as to be when we stopped the Mighty Tebow in the SECCG to lead us to number 13.

The loss goes to the 2010 Auburn game, across the board we were better, but they just shut us down in the second half. It doesn't really hurt anymore though since 42-14.

Honorable mention to "Bo Over the Top" as a hard loss because it was Bear's last Iron Bowl.

so is that what I typed? frick no

mindset player but YOU would need a mind to comprehend

LSU Rematches:
GOC 1959 LSU 7 OM 3
Sugar Rematch OM 21 LSU 0

ND 24 LSU 6 1997
LSU 27 ND 9 1997

UT 26 LSU 18 2001
LSU 30 UT 21 2001

and yes LSU beat UGA twice in 03

so 3 splits and one win out

these are what I'm talking bout man, you wanna be a arse (which you are) and rant about excuses feel free to knock yourself out

Back to back weeks unfortunately.

Dominated kU in the final week of the regular season to make the big 12 championship game and ranked #1, only to be dominated by OU the following week and knocking us out of the title game.

Best win is probably the 98 Big 12 championship in OT, or recently the wins against OU and Nebraska last year.

There are way too many to pick from for worst loss, but as of right now the string of comeback defeats this year.

In my living memory?

Joyous: Tie between 2010 Iron Bowl (because of the nature of the comeback) and 2011 BCS Championship Game (duh).

Agonizing: Easy choice... 1985 Iron Bowl. May you burn in hell for all eternity, Van Tiffin.
