Ok, now that I understand, guess the other two blowholes think everything is a joke and cannot provide meaningful answers to a question.

BTW, not so sure that is a dental shirt, looks more like a pharmacist jacket (since Auburn has the school of pharmacy).

ok, now I get it....it is like the shirt that Coach Chizik wears on the sidelines...long day man

And a damn fine one at that.

Crack a cold one, and enjoy the ride. Maybe you will pick up something to use against the forced interaction LSU has with Arkansas.

past performance is no indication of future results

With that said, Mean Gene The Smocked One is surging forward to ensure that Y'?i?ath Mi?rayim doesn't last as long...

Going to eat a nice meal here in Las Vegas, drop some coin on the $5 craps table here at the Rampart Casino and then get some sleep. BTW no odds posted yet for the next college football season

Chizik has been on the Auburn coaching staff for Six seasons... Three was DC (02,03,04) and Three as HC (09,10,11).

Auburn is 60-18 (76.9%) in those six seasons... 30-8 as DC... 30-10 as HC.

Buy... he's still relatively young for a HC... we've got a solid staff in place, with a good mix on on-field coaching and recruiting... we've got talent on campus and seem to have no problem convincing guys to come here.

Auburn is in as strong a position as it's ever been in, imo... 2 SEC Championships in the last 7 years... a BCSNC... heisman winner...etc.

You aren't the least bit concerned that 8-5 is the norm?

How so? What if 14-0 is the norm? Bottom line is we are 30-10 under him and are recruiting at a higher level than we ever have. So far he's doing a solid job

I'd say the only thing working against Auburn is that both LSU and Bama are in full stride again and ahead of Auburn on the program-rebuilding life cycle.

If Tubs had been running a program like this 5 years ago who knows how great things would be. le sigh

No, but I am concerned the Gene continues to wear hideous jackets. Hopefully this year, he will sport a Nehru jacket on the sidelines....now that would be stylish.

what suggests that?... we're in a very strong position right now, perhaps the strongest in the programs' history, but there's the definite posibility that we don't take advantage.

Assuming decent improvement based on the new coordinators (mainly on the defensive side of the ball), I'd say we'll catch up to Arkansas for third in the West this season - especially given the favorable schedule, and within the next few seasons both of us should close the gap on LSU and Bama.

I absolutely LOVE the state of the program right now, I'm not sure I've ever been as excited for football season to start. It's going to be a long offseason

Hmmm... Looks like even WITH the BCS title in his stretch as HC, Auburn was slightly better off with Cheezits as DC.
